Refund & Returns Policy
At Jaymees, we are committed to providing high-quality swimwear and excellent customer service. We understand that shopping online can be challenging, and we aim to make our returns process as simple as possible while complying with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Change of Mind Returns
If you change your mind about your purchase, we may accept a return subject to the following conditions:
- The return request must be made within 14 days of receiving your order.
- The item must be unworn, unwashed and unused.
- All original tags, labels and hygiene liners must remain attached and intact.
- The item must be in its original packaging and in saleable condition.
- The item must be free from perfumes, deodorants, makeup, tanning products, pet hair or any other marks or odours.
Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused and returned to the customer.
Hygiene Policy for Swimwear
For hygiene reasons, swimwear can only be returned for change of mind if:
- The hygiene seal has not been removed or tampered with.
- The swimwear has only been tried on over underwear.
- The garment shows no signs of wear or use.
Any swimwear that has been worn in water, washed, or has had the hygiene liner removed will not be eligible for return unless required under the Australian Consumer Law.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is:
- Faulty,
- Damaged,
- Incorrect,
- Not as described,
please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
We may request photographs of the product to assist with assessing the claim.
Where a product is confirmed to have a manufacturing fault or major defect, Jaymees will provide a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Sale Items
Sale or clearance items are eligible for return under Australian Consumer Law if they are faulty or not of acceptable quality.
Unless otherwise stated, sale items purchased during promotional events are not eligible for refunds due to change of mind.
Refund Method
Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Please allow 3–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return relates to a faulty or incorrectly supplied item.
Exchanges
Subject to availability, we may offer exchanges for a different size or colour where the returned item meets our return conditions.
If the requested item is unavailable, a store credit or refund may be offered at our discretion where applicable.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return postage costs for change of mind returns.
If the return is due to an error by Jaymees or a confirmed faulty product, reasonable return shipping costs will be reimbursed or a prepaid return label may be provided.
